About Me

My photo
Anacortes, Washington, United States
This is my testimony - my testimony of faith and lack thereof; of the rising and falling of hopes and dreams; of beliefs and disbelief's; of tremendous heartache and human folly; of reaching out and stepping out when all I want at times is to is pull back and step away. At the age of 30 I was diagnosed with a very rare neurological condition called Post-traumatic Syringomyelia (PTS). Please visit my post on PTS. One of my goals is to increase awareness of this terminal condition. Broken to Grace is not yet released. Follow this blog to receive an email when the final release date is announced. God bless, Ronda

NEW: My radio interview on PWRN "Mastering the Art of Becoming" with Marcy Neumann. Live all week.

PWRN radio 2011/06/20 - "Mastering the Art of Becoming": Episode "Broken to Grace" http://pwrnradio.com/blog/2011/06/20/mastering-the-art-of-becoming-17-broken-to-grace/

I was interviewed last week on a 60-minute radio program called "Mastering the Art of Becoming", hosted by Marcy Neumann. It is live all week and can also be listened to streaming on line at the link above. Please, if you listen and it moves you - share this link wherever you can. The station is PWRN, Positive World Radio Network.
I really hope you enjoy this. If you decide to set time aside to listen - understand this is a 60-minute program. Sit back, relax, and listen.
I listened to it for the first time on Monday when it was first aired. When we did the interview last week, I had no previous knowledge of the direction of the interview or what the host, Marcy, would ask of me. It was definitely off the cuff - but that is what makes it so real and raw - and if you've gotten to know me at all you know those two qualities are important to me.
I hope this helps some of you understand a bit more about my life, my book, and your life.
God bless and with love~

Doubt...

I believe in a God who is perfect in all things and in all ways; through all things I find my strength in Him alone. So when I doubt myself, then I doubt the perfect abilities of my heavenly Father. When we truly invite God to live within us, His almighty presence leaves no place for doubt or fear. Every step forward in true faith, puts doubt and fear one step further behind.

I wrote this today, as I have noticed undeniably that I have recently allowed room for doubt and fear - and I have temporarily become fixed and frozen instead of moving forward on certain things. This may be unexceptable, but yet it is human. And so I reassert my trust and move forward once again, putting God front and center and leaving doubt and fear to yesterday. Fear breeds more fear; doubt breeds more doubt - and it's time to let go of those ties that bind once again.

Broken to Grace

Life is simply chaos personified and then orchestrated by God.
We have a symphony playing all around us and through us. And like any symphony there are changes in pitch, differing melodies, times of complete silence, and times of violent uproar that hit you at the very soul.
Make a point to pause for long enough so you can better hear the the beauty of the whole piece instead of the misunderstood noises of the singular instruments. In hearing how all the instruments around us work together, we can better see the beauty of our role in the symphony that is life.
The process of creating a beautiful symphony amidst the chaos of people learning to play takes a lifetime of work in relationship with God and people.

For the Love of God

We can't out run the wisdom, plans, or will of God...
so why is it that so many of us spend our lives trying to?
And why do so many of us want to?
For along with all of these things also comes His unfailing love, mercy and grace.
...Accept all that He gives to us, including His Word, and live this life with Joy in your heart no matter your circumstance.
