About Me

My photo
Anacortes, Washington, United States
This is my testimony - my testimony of faith and lack thereof; of the rising and falling of hopes and dreams; of beliefs and disbelief's; of tremendous heartache and human folly; of reaching out and stepping out when all I want at times is to is pull back and step away. At the age of 30 I was diagnosed with a very rare neurological condition called Post-traumatic Syringomyelia (PTS). Please visit my post on PTS. One of my goals is to increase awareness of this terminal condition. Broken to Grace is not yet released. Follow this blog to receive an email when the final release date is announced. God bless, Ronda

The Constant of Truth

The truth that once wasn't, but now is, really always was.

When you recognize something as truth, but time alters it in your eyes, that doesn't remove truth. Time does not change truth, but serves to move us into a different place. And in different places things appear and feel changed, but truth remains unmoved.

Look for the one who shines true light, for His truth is always constant.

But remember first, amidst all your searching, who made your yearning heart.

Neither the passing of time nor the passing of places can either make the heart grow fonder or make the heart wander.

The heart knows what it wants and needs from the moment it is awoken. And nothing on this earth can put death to that which it desires, requires, and aspires to embrace.

Let your heart yearn for what it desires, for out of yearning you learn to attain that which you desire. Let your
heart mourn for what it needs, through mourning we learn to seek what we need until the mourning turns to joy. And for what your heart beholds and contains allow yourself to rejoice and savor, for to behold and contain the desires, requirements and aspirations of your heart is a gift like no other.

But remember first, amidst all your searching, who made your yearning heart - and bitterness shall certainly never find a home with you through all your trials. – Ronda Rae Franklin

When Lightening Strikes...

When lightening strikes in the direction you're heading you can either see it as a sign to turn away or as a lighting of your path.

You feel the lightening in your gut, deep down in your soul. Your heart understands what it's telling you. You have but one decision.

You can follow the lightening that strikes your heart and soul, or you can pull back in fear of its power. Beware of the fear; it's your own heart you're afraid of. -Ronda Rae Franklin

Rest ~ the fresh trail of tomorrow awaits a refreshed you.

"As you lay your head down at the end of this days journey, remind yourself that it is a journey you are on. You need this time to rest. It does no good now to ponder what you wish you would've accomplished in the time that is behind you, or give worry to tomorrows trail. Let go and give way to rest, so your journey can begin anew as if no time has passed.

Let go and give way to rest, so your new journey can begin as if no time has passed."
